As an education foundation, SMAN 3 Madiun always tries hard to facilitate the students’ potentials in order to have useful competence to live and solve the problems of life. Realizing that all the students who are sitting in SMA right now will face the globalization era with tight competition among the nations in the world, in which only those who win will become the winners, SMAN 3 Madiun is trying hard to facilitate the students to develop their potentials in order to win the competition in the globalization era. It is in accordance with the general objectives of SMAN 3 Madiun, that is: Developing iman and taqwa, intelligence, knowledge, personality, life skills to be competitive in the globalization era.
To achieve the goal, facilitated by the local government of Madiun, SMAN 3 Madiun is improved to become International School which will be able to compete in the international forum, such as:
-The students are able to continue their study in the internationally standardized
universities either inside or outside of Indonesia.
-The students are able to follow international certification held by the OECD (Organization
for Economic Cooperation and Development) countries.
-The students are able to gain international medals in any competitions such as Science,
Mathematics, Technology, Arts and Sports.
-The students are able to work in the international foundations in Indonesia or abroad.
- The students have good moral value, behavior, personality, leadership, entrepreneurship,

To actualize the objectives, SMA Negeri 3 takes the strategy as follows:
A.Developing the school by doing activities above the standard as the quality standard of
International school.
B.Facilitating as many as possible the students potentials, supporting and stimulating
students competition spirit through academic and non-academic activities and
competitions.
C.Selecting the new students who have potentials in the fields of science and technology
to improve to be internationally standardized.
SMA Negeri 3 Menggunakan strategi
A. Meningkatkan kemampuan SMA Negeri 3 Madiun untuk melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan di
atas standar.
B. Memfasilitasi sebanyak mungkin pengembangkan potensi peserta didik, menumbuh-
kembangkan semangat kompetisi siswa melalui lomba bidang akademik dan non-

C. Memilih calon siswa baru yang memiliki potensi bidang IPTEK untuk dikembangkan

- Curriculum of SMA Negeri 3 Madiun is enriched with international curriculum adopted
from the curriculum of Cambridge University remembering that Cambridge University is
one of the most prestigious Universities in the world.
- The quality of Internationally standardized school is guaranteed by the successfulness
of implementing curriculum completely. The curriculum is as the reference of
constructing syllabus and lesson plans. The success is based on the following
indicators.
